Paragon

Paragon features a patent-pending center-surface design that produces superior caliper, bulk and diameter flexibility. Log winding takes place in a new-concept nest, comprised of a winding drum, winding belt, compound-motion rider roll and center drives. Many of Paragon’s subsystems are proven technology solutions in use on PCMC’s trusted Forte rewinder, with several upgrades. Paragon’s enhanced web handling and grade changes are mainly recipe-driven, and its specially designed tools guide fast calibrations. Like the Forte rewinder, Paragon has an intentional open-access design, plus, typical areas to clean require less frequent attention, and recovery and restart occur safely and quickly.

Forte Series 5/6/7

The Forte Series is a highly efficient and fully automatic surface rewinder designed for optimal productivity and reliability. It offers precise control over finished product parameters, such as sheet count, length, and diameter, ensuring high versatility with minimal operator intervention. The machine's open design allows easy visibility, intuitive understanding, and convenient access for maintenance and adjustments. It incorporates features to maximize mean time between failures (MTBF) and minimize mean time to repair (MTTR), including reliable components, fault detection systems, and easily repeatable adjustments. The Forte Series boasts servo-driven components, such as the spreader roll, infeed draws rolls, perforator, outfeed draw rolls, and core inserter, ensuring precise control and consistent performance. Additionally, it features clean transfer adhesive systems, adjustable transfer cradle, one-step core insertion and transfer, and a high-quality wind nest engineered for exceptional winding stability and product containment. Optional features include a second perforator for different perforation lengths and core chucks to minimize log telescoping.

AMICA Unica

AMICA automatic rewinder is a high-speed rewinding machine. It operates fully automatically, making it perfect for producing hygienic paper and kitchen towel products. The machine is equipped with electronic controls, enabling flexibility in the final product and effortless adjustment of the production speed. AMICA UNICA is an automatic rewinder specifically designed for winding tissue paper while ensuring superior product quality. It is capable of converting both consumer and industrial products. By utilizing either the fixed geometry or the variable geometry option applied to the winding rolls, the machine can handle both types of products on the same machine. The desired configuration can be selected conveniently from the operator panel.
